About the Book: BAAZ OF THE BENGAL LANCERS
It is 1857, the year of the uprising. The last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar, has fallen. As the British go after those involved in the uprising, three men from the village of Haider Kalan hunt down the treasure of the emperor. Bayaz-ud-din Waris Ali Khan becomes the sole guardian of the gold, leaving behind traces for the ones brave enough to find it. Decades later a young architect decides to chase history.
